Is there a private room in the Libraries that I can reserve for interviews?

A very limited number of small, single-occupant 4 Hour Student Use Carrels at the Du Bois Library are available for current UMass Amherst student use only. These must be reserved at least four hours in advance using the 4-Hour Carrels reservation link (subject to availability). Bookings are limited to two reservations per week (Sunday-Saturday).

Additionally, the Science and Engineering Library has a Short Term Booking Room, which is a semi-private carrel that might meet the need for interviews. It has a full door, but is not soundproof. Bookings are limited to two thirty-minute reservations per day. If you think that this will work, you are welcome to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance. The reservations link is here:

All of the other bookable spaces in the Libraries are group study rooms which are limited to groups of 3 or more and are neither soundproof nor private.
