How do I use the Open Access policy?

The simplest, most direct way to use the policy is to deposit the author accepted manuscript (or final version, if the publisher allows) of your scholarly article, book chapter or conference paper to ScholarWorks, the UMass Amherst institutional repository, prior to publication.
