How do I request a waiver of the Open Access policy?

You may request a waiver of the UMass Open Access Policy on an article-by-article basis. Simply complete this form and you will receive a waiver in response.
While you can request a waiver of the UMass Open Access Policy, this does not waive any obligations you may have under funder open access policies or grant requirements. Check the SPARC Directory of Publication and Data Sharing Requirements by (U.S.) Federal Agency or directly with your funder for more information.
